Campsite Rules & Terms and Conditions
Ours is a quiet family campsite. It is a condition of staying that you abide by these rules:
- Quiet talking only after 11 pm and silence after midnight.
- No sound systems or noisy devices at any time, only acoustic instruments up to 10 pm.
- No generators and no drones are to be used here at all.
- Dogs max 2 per booking and kept on lead at all time. We have zero tolerance for dogs off leads due to live stock in the fields surrounding the campsite
- No groups of men or stag party.
- At least 6m between tents of different groups, 3m between tents of same group.
- No so-called “disposable” bbqs on the grass: bring your own raised one.
- No fires after midnight: all fires must be out by then.
- Security: we cannot accept responsibility for the security of vehicles or belongings: please ensure all valuables, mountain bikes, canoes etc are properly secured.
Please do not come if you feel these rules are unreasonable.
We reserve the right to refuse a booking.
Arrival and departure
- Bookings are required use the Book Now page for details and our cancellation policy.
- Campers arrive after 3 pm and depart by 11 am.
- Arrivals are accepted till 10.30 pm. If you arrive after this you will need to let us know in advance.
- One car per pitch.
- Please leave your pitch tidy with all rubbish and recycling stowed in appropriate bins.
Fires, lake and weather
- Camp fires are allowed only if they are small, on one of our metal firepit and use wood bought from us. Honesty box and wood available by the Recycling area. Do not light fires on the ground or collect wood from surrounding farm or woodland. Do not bring wood, coal or other combustible materials onto our site for fires.
- Weather: The campsite is in the bottom of a mountain valley and can be subject to extreme weather conditions. Very strong winds and torrential rain can occur at any time of year with localised flooding. Please ensure that your camping gear is robust and correctly erected.
